The New Year's Eve balloons loomed high above a sold-out crowd at the House of Blues Tuesday night, where the Old 97's played their part of a big alt-country night around Dallas.
It was a little early for a New Year's Eve party, but front-man Rhett Miller said he understood why everyone came out for the night of the 30th. "I know tomorrow night, you'll all stay home and fuck," he said. "Because that's what grown-ups do."
Locals The O's and The Drams opened the show.
