Yet another PotW win for Parade of Flesh, and the second win for L.A.'s Von Dada, who earned Poster of the Week status the first week of October for the three-skull, three-show Lounge On Elm Street poster.
Obviously, the graveyard setting is a rather literal representation of the headlining Austin band's name. But I think the bleak coloring and general bad-ass attitude with which the skeletal cowboy seems to carry himself also captures something about Trail of Dead's music, too. Bonus points for the extra-long format and simple, legible lettering.
And, while we're on the topic of tomorrow night's show, we might as well mention this: Parade of Flesh has been kind enough to toss a pair of tickets our way to give away to our blog readers.
So, first person to email Pete with "...And You Will Know Me As The Contest Winner" in the subject line, gets into the show (with a friend) for free. Good luck.
