I was pretty sure this week’s poster pick was from frequent Parade of Flesh designer James Heimer, but thought there was a chance it could have been his brother Sam‘s creation. Turns out the siblings collaborated on the flyer, which promotes Friday night’s highly anticipated Man Man, The Boom Boom Box and Giggle Party show at The Lounge on Elm Street.

With the belted biceps and the fishhooks through the figure’s nostrils, it seems like the drawing is some sort of comment on addiction–but I might be reading too much into it. Whatever the case, it’s a great merging of both artists’ very distinctive styles. And how fitting that Sam and James would work together to promote a band from the City of Brotherly Love.
