Country legend George Jones was hospitalized for an upper respiratory infection a few weeks ago, causing him to cancel a couple tour dates and get some needed rest at his Tennessee home. It gives you some perspective on the fact that Jones, who was born and raised in South Texas, is 80 years old and has been ramblin’ across county lines since the mid-’50s. He doesn’t have a new album, but with half a century of hits like “She Still Thinks I Care” under his well-worn belt, this show is more of a historical document.
