Billed as “an acoustic collaborative event,” this year’s edition of The Revival Tour features Chuck Ragan, Tom Gabel, Dan Andriano and Cory Branan. Definitely not a situation where open G, C and D chords are strummed over and over all night — impromptu jam sessions and guest appearances are going to happen. Given that Ragan played in Hot Water Music, Gabel is from Against Me! and Andriano is from Alkaline Trio, there should be a good draw, especially since those bands have way more hardcore fans than casual ones.
