$10,000

Just a quick reminder that, tonight on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, your queen and mine, Erykah Badu, will be performing the lead single off of her upcoming New Amerykah Pt. II: Return of the Ankh, “Window Seat,” with some help from the song’s co-producer (James Poyser), the song’s co-writer (Questlove) and their bandmates in The Roots.

As we mentioned last week, the song’s already doing well on Urban Adult Contemporary formats, where it remains the top-added song on those stations’ rotations.

Tonight’s performance, meanwhile, is just the first of many that Badu will offer up to TV audiences–although most of the others will come closer to her album’s March 30 release date. She’ll appear on The Wendy Williams Show on March 25, Good Day New York on March 26, Jimmy Kimmel Live on the day of the album release, The Wanda Sykes Show on April 3, Chelsea Lately on April 5, and, lastly, on The Mo’Nique Show on some to-be-determined date probably stuck somewhere amongst those others. In short, she’ll be performing a lot. Hell, I’m out of breath just thinking about it.
