Support the independent voice of Dallas and help keep the future of Dallas Observer free.
We thought this was already settled.
But apparently there's still some dispute as to who is the Honky Tonk Champion of Dallas. So the Boys Named Sue and The King Bucks--both frequent "Best Country" Dallas Observer Music Awards nominees, with the Bucks taking the honor last year--will square off Saturday, January 30, at Dallas' undisputed king of honky-tonk bars, the Sons of Hermann Hall, to settle it once and for all. Or until DOMA XXII voting starts. Or until the 2K11 version of the "World Championship of Honky Tonk."
The undercard features longtime Dallas musician siblings Chad and Reggie Rueffer. Doors open at 7 p.m., music starts at 9 p.m. and tickets are $10.
After the jump, a few other recent show announcements.
