St. Vincent, whose music gets compared to Andrew Bird’s far too often in reviews (perhaps because both incorporate elements of twee?), will tour with the Bird man this fall, starting on Tuesday, September 29, in Indianapolis.
Unfortunately, the tour won’t bring Annie Clark back home through Dallas. But it will take her through Austin for the Austin City Limits Festival. Of course, you already knew that.
But get this: The tandem of Bird and Clark will also appear together on an Austin City Limits television performance, currently scheduled to air on PBS on October 24. Granted, it’s a ways off, but consider this your first heads up…
