The folks at Kirtland Records/Sonar Management sure are busy these days, what with today's release of the new Eleven Hundred Springs album today (be sure to check our story on the new EHS disc in this upcoming Thursday's of the Observer) and all those announcements its been making about the new Sarah Jaffe album and about the Toadies' (possibly ridiculously ambitious) plans for 2010.

But the label ain't letting Smile Smile slip through the cracks: This week, Kirtland launched TruthOnTape.net, so named for the local indie pop duo's out-next-week album, Truth on Tape. The purpose? So you can stream the new album, the band's second, in its entirety. There's a couple real winners on there, too. My personal favorite? "Labor of Love," the album's final cut--and a song loyal DC9 in SPACE viewers might remember well. Lyrically, that sumbitch is pretty damn brutal...
