Opening is Mazinga Phaser II, mach three. Hometowner Mwanza Dover’s revamped troupe has shed its awkward space-pop/garage-psych vacillations, settling on a more exciting, frenzied blend of tribal and IDM with dissonant garnishes. Playing first is Dallas’ Unconscious Collective, an improvisational crew featuring flute, bells, major-league jazz chops and a punk-rock mentality.
