BallerStatus.com, which bills itself as an urban lifestyle network, just posted a lengthy Q&A feature on producer, MC, Strange Fruit Project member, Cannabinoid member and all-around hip-hop man about town Symbolyc One , talking to the Waco native about his work with Erykah Badu, his collaborations with Speech of Arrested Development and Rah Digga, and his current projects with nationally known Houstonites Chamillionaire and Slim Thug.
Says S1, when asked what he hopes to get out of his work in hip-hop:
“I want appreciation for just putting out good music … life changing music and music that inspires and moves people to be creative is really all I think about.”
Don’t we all. Good thing for S1, though, his work is actually pretty damn good. —Pete Freedman
