Between massive tours from rap stars like Kendrick Lamar to the exciting rise of Dallas’ own BigXThaPlug, last year was a standout moment for hip-hop and R&B music in North Texas. This year hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down, either.

Just last month, a stacked roster of Bow Wow, Amerie, B2K and more took us back to the ’90s and early 2000s of the R&B golden days. April is just as exciting with a slate of shows you don’t want to miss, from corridos tumbados rapper Peso Pluma, to Bruno Mars’ long-awaited solo return.

April 10-11: Peso Pluma At Dos Equis Pavilion
1818 1st Ave.
Peso Pluma and friends are set to bring us a party like no other with the Dinastía Tour. The sold-out tour features a full-scale performance by the Mexican superstar and buzzing support act Tito Double P, along with a variety of surprise guests. Other tour stops have included guest appearances by hitmakers Yahritza y Su Esencia, Armenta and Rey Quinto.  Pluma continues to grow as an entertainer, making the Dinastía Tour a must-see for any show in DFW this year. Tickets start at $78.

April 10: DAVE At Southside Ballroom
Award-winning rapper DAVE is going on his first tour in four years to mark the release of his third album, The Boy Who Played Harp. With the new album, the rapper known for his poignant and biting lyricism traded spectacle for clarity, vulnerability and faith. Known for his signature songs “Location,” “Thiago Silva” and “Streatham,” fans on social media are anticipating live first-time performances of these new experimental tracks. Tickets are $48.

Known as one of the greatest performers of a generation, Bruno Mars’ big return in 2026 has been an instant success.
