The Burden Brothers

Sure, there are lots of options for midnight toasts--chi-chi shindigs, hotel soirees and so on. But wouldn't it be better to just get sweaty and knock back a beer or four at a full-on Texas rock show? While The BB's Buried in Your Black Heart may not be the CD we opt to pop in the stereo every day, onstage, these local boys have been at it long enough to be experts at assaulting our better judgment and eardrums in the best way possible. Even if it's just long enough to hear one drum fill from Taz, don that tiara and check out these noisemakers. Besides, it's so much better to hear the words "You're So God Damn Beautiful" at full volume and in person.
KEEP THE DALLAS OBSERVER FREE... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we'd like to keep it that way. With local media under siege, it's more important than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" program, allowing us to keep offering readers access to our incisive coverage of local news, food and culture with no paywalls.
