My head hurts. Here’s why: The song’s called “Dreaming of Dreaming” and it’s a b-side from The Secret Machines‘ upcoming self-titled release (due out October 14), meaning it’s not on the album. But the I Rock Cleveland music blog is (rightfully) touting it as a return to form to the band’s older stuff, which, again, is funny because the song’s neither on nor very much like what’s to come on the one-time Dallas band’s new disc.
EIther way, though, it’s a good ‘un. —Pete Freedman
