- If you're going to SXSW, you may want to check out the worlds most ironic supergroup--Tinted Windows. The band includes ex-Smashing Pumpkin James Iha, the middle Hanson (Taylor), Bun E. Carlos from Cheap Trick and Fountains of Wayne bassist Adam Schlesinger.
- Touch and Go Records is shuttering it's doors...for now. The home of legends like The Butthole Surfers and The Jesus Lizard and the current home of Calexico and The New Year will cease releasing records until it can restructure. The few albums the label has slated to come out this year will still see release.
