A surprising amount off good-looking shows are taking place tonight -- so check out our Chrismukkah wish list of shows for you to attend tonight after the jump.

Sorta at AllGood Cafe
Tonight's Sorta reunion show at AllGood Cafe, which we announced yesterday, was originally billed as a song swap featuring several former Sorta members. But the supergroup has decided to turn this into a full-blown show. And the best part? There's no set fee to get in. Just pay what you can.

Sir Name & The Janes, ZORCH, Tiger Thrust and Leg Sweeper at The Cavern
Not a bad lineup at all for John Iskander of Parade of Flesh's annual Chrusmukkah bash (with a borrowed theme from the late, great The O.C.), which skips right past wishing for a white Christmas and goes straight to providing you with a garage- and punk-filled one.

Josh Weathers & The True Endeavors at Lochrann's Irish Pub & Eatery in Frisco
If you find yourself in Frisco tonight, counting down the hours until you have to spend time with your crazy family, this show might be a viable option for you. Billed as a holiday and three-year anniversary party, you can be certain that things will get pretty wild -- especially considering that Weathers and his six-piece backing band put on one of the more lively shows in town.

Keep the Dallas Observer Free... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Dallas with no paywalls.
