A couple big hip-hop shows are rolling through town in the coming days.
Chronologically, the big ones you need to know about: Method Man and Redman stopping through on Sunday night at the House of Blues; Digable Planets performing on Tuesday night at the Granada; MURS playing Hailey’s in Denton on Wednesday night; and Q-Tip and The Cool Kids taking the stage at the House of Blues on that same Wednesday.
(Oh, and keep an eye out for an upcoming web Q&A with Q-Tip in the near future, by the way.)
But those are just the ones you’ve seen on the schedules… Here are some other big ‘uns that have just been announced:
– On Sunday, November 16, Young Jeezy takes the stage at Club Cirque on the corner of Pacific and Harwood downtown.
– On Wednesday, November 19, Lil Jon stops through to play a free DJ set at Ghostbar.
– And the biggest of them all: The Best Rapper Alive hits up the American Airlines Center alongside T-Pain, Keyshia Cole and Gym Class Heroes on Friday, December 19.
