Yesterday, over on his The Boca Libre blog, budding videographer, Oak Cliff resident and Kid Robot employee Josh Obama posted the above, beautifully presented clip, which Obama is calling his first official documentary short.
It’s not a bad first go, either: Featuring the long-revered-around-town DJ Sober, the short goes “behind the tables” with the man born Will Rhoten and gets in-depth on his start as a DJ. Shot over the span of a month, the clip hardly even lasts six minutes–but in a single watch, you’ll feel like you’ve known Sober a lifetime. Just really great stuff all around.
