It's been almost a year to the date since we posted, for your viewing pleasure, the music video for Sore Losers' "The Deadly Intro," the song that served as the lead track on the hip-hop duo's still-awesome late 2009 mixtape, Free Loaders: The Soundtrack.

And, far as we're concerned, 2010 was truly Sore Losers' year in the local hip-hop world, as the group rose from the ranks of obscurity to become one of the more engaging live acts around, hip-hop or otherwise. No surprise, then, that with a year of that experience under their belt, the Sore Losers of 2011 are not only a more confident bunch, but a group with a bigger budget, too. So much so that the book-end counterpart to "The Deadly Intro," Free Loaders' closing track, "The Epic Outro," kind of puts that other clip to shame.

Give the well-produced new music video for the Coldplay-sampling track a watch after the jump.

Keep the Dallas Observer Free... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Dallas with no paywalls.
