Nice to see two of our favorite relatively new-to-the-scene hard rock acts, The Phuss and Maleveller, working together as they do in the above music video, released today, for The Phuss’ oh-so-delectable Toadies-esque rock anthem, “Preacher, Preacher.” What’s Maleveller’s contribution? Ah: The titular character in the song is portrayed in the pretty darn kickass video by Maleveller frontman Brian Smith. Very creepily too, if we might add.

The video, of course, is a further attempt by The Phuss’ Dallas-based label, Black Flag Records (also home to Jacknife), to promote the band’s new, kinda-concept record, Wanted. What? Our recent positive review of the album wasn’t enough? Oh well. Next time.
