MyDentonMusic‘s been covering the goings-on in the Denton music scene for some time now, and, today, they’re celebrating the launch of MyDallasMusic.com.
The Denton version of the site has been popular thanks to its focus on social networking–kind of like a Facebook for the Denton music scene–and now the folks behind that initial venture hope to get fans, artists, businesses, and bands in Dallas to be a part of their online community.
Upon further investigation, the newly-launched website says that they’ve been around since 2008. However, DC9 contributor (and Subservient Experiment founder) Cory Graves reports that the URL originally just forwarded web browsers to the MyDentonMusic site.
“Starting this week it is featuring its own content,” tweeted Graves earlier today. He would know; he’ll be contributing to their site. Dude gets around.
