Wilco has just announced the lineup for their Solid Sound Festival, to be held June 21 to 23 at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, and amidst the Yo La Tengo’s and Neko Case’s is West Dallas’ own funk and gospel heroes The Residents.

The Relatives have experienced a renaissance of late, riding a larger neo-soul revival with the same steady hand that’s guided them through more than 40 years, on and off. Though they remain much more popular outside of their hometown, they still live and preach in Dallas.
