Matt reports that Dallas County District Attorney Craig Watkins has made an appearance at Gilley’s — guess everyone was waiting to see which way the wind blew? Not Angela Hunt’s way so far: With 282 of 400 precincts reporting, the numbers are exactly the same as they were about half an hour ago, with the Vote No’ers garnering 29,847 votes out of the 56,045 counted thus far. Which leaves, if my math’s right, 26,198 votes against the high-speed Trinity River toll road. –Robert Wilonsky
