Andy Uhler, of KUT-FM (90.5) down in Austin, will be walkin’ the streets of Deep Ellum for the next couple of days for a story about the past, present and future of Deep Ellum. Picked a good time to do it, before the rest of the landmark collection of early 20th-century storefronts collapse; hope he doesn’t get bonked in the noggin by falling bricks, which would make for one hell of a story, admittedly. So if you see a guy walking Commerce St. with a microphone, feel free to tell him what you think of the hood; only, please, try not to curse. –Robert Wilonsky
