Just two doors down from where I took this picture back in January, I discovered this commode — a neighbor’s art installation that’s doubling as fund-raiser for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Apparently, you pay so much to have it removed permanently, or a slightly smaller amount to keep it off the lawn temporarily. At first, I just thought it fell off someone’s Fourth of July parade float.
