BREAKING NEWS: Lex & Terry Join 105.3 The Fan

Before I break from blogging for a few extra days heading into Memorial Day Weekend, allow me to play traffic cop.

Coming: Jordan Spieth. Book it. The 16-year-old, as I told you last week, is indeed Dallas' version of Tiger Woods. At least between the ropes.

Going: Dirk Nowitzki? Not gonna happen. Yes, he's technically opting out of his contract. But no, he won't play for someone other than the Dallas Mavericks.

Re-Appearing: Lex & Terry. What?!

Sure enough, the envelope-shoving duo Lex Staley and Terry Jaymes will join the roster at 105.3 The Fan come June 1. Exactly where will they fit in?

Fired by 97.1 The Eagle back in Janurary, Lex & Terry have nonetheless since been using the station's studio for its syndicated morning show that's carried by about 25 stations and XM satellite radio.

That weekday show will remain, in addition to a new weekend, fill-in gig at The Fan. Their contract with Clear Channel is up in August. Until then Lex & Terry won't have a starting position at The Fan, only a roster spot.

Stay tuned.
