Brek Shea, whose first season of European football can best be described as an epic disappointment, is back in Dallas for the summer where he’s wasted little time showcasing his love for large firearms and gaudy American-flag tank tops, both of which are banned in England.
He posted — and quickly deleted — the above photo on Instagram on Monday. It’s gone over slightly better than the pig’s-head photo he posted last month — the response in the media has consisted of bemused references to Texas — but it’s not going to endear Shea to Stoke City fans who have already written him off as flop.
