We were at Dallas Farmers Market over the weekend, when, for the first time in a hundred or so visits, the boy spotted the plaque above, which is sort of obscured in its spot next to the still overwhelmingly empty Shed 2. (And the city’s still looking for vendors, for those so interested, but I’ve heard many complaints about a way-too-high rent.) The boy noticed one thing: “It needs shining.” Son, they’re doing the best they can. –Robert Wilonsky
