Reminds me of when Ameriquest sponsored the Rangers’ ballpark. Except Man U doesn’t suck.

While yesterday pondering what it’s going to be like during next week’s dawning of this century’s Great Depression, I stumbled upon a Champions League footie match on ESPN2 featuring Manchester United and some team in horrid mustard yellow uniforms.

I now have a better idea of how our country’s whole economic meltdown has come about.

AIG, thrown an $85 billion life preserver this week, actually thought it a swell idea to spend $100 million to have its initials on a sports uniform.
