Joe Gonzalez tried to out-OJ OJ Simpson Wednesday afternoon.

Driving a white vehicle, Gonzalez, 42, led Fort Worth police on a low-speed chase that included his heading the wrong way down an exit ramp, onlookers stalled in traffic getting out of their cars and taking photos and, finally, a SWAT vehicle ramming Gonzalez's white sedan. The chase was over, but not before Gonzalez tried to flee out a back window before being taken down by Fort Worth Police Department SWAT team members.

Reportedly, Gonzalez started the chase because he had a large amount of methamphetamine in his car. Following his arrest, he was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital and treated for minor injuries. He's been charged with evading arrest in a vehicle and possession of more than 400 grams of a controlled substance.
