CNN this morning visits D’gala Bridal Boutique on W. Jefferson Boulevard, which pockets a major chunk of its change outfitting girls for their quinceañeras. Alas, sales at the end of last year were the worst in more than a decade — one guess why. Which means discounts are to be had, good news for the local mother who refused to cancel the coming-out party even while struggling to pay her phone bill. Also suffering fiscal setbacks: bar mitzvah parties. Fortunately, I had a werewolf bar mitzvah.
