I know it’s only August. It’s only pre-season. But it is, after all, football. Tonight at 9 on Channel 11 and 105.3 The Fan we officially begin washing 44-6 out of our mouths.

As for me …
*Roy Williams: Just want to see a little something positive. Anything. Know what I mean?
*David Buehler: He’s kicked the ball through the end zone in San Antonio. Can he do it in Oakland?
*Victor Butler: So far in camp the fourth-round linebacker is ahead of both co-rookies Jason Williams and Brandon Williams.
*Gerald Sensabaugh: Cowboys have had some of the worst safety play in the NFL the last two seasons. He needs to be a significant upgrade if we’re going to take this team seriously.
*Greg Ellis: Remember him? Well, it’ll be interesting to see him rushing/complaining in silver and black.
