Was checking out Channel 8’s sports last night when I was presented with classic Dale Hansen. Not unplugged exactly. How about unglued?
As Hansen began his recap of Rangers 5, Indians 0, the video didn’t exactly cooperate. While he beamed about Tommy Hunter’s pitching and Josh Hamilton’s hitting, the screen – for a good, long 10 seconds – stayed on the above shot.
“Whoops,” Hansen grumbled, “how long we gonna stay on this couple?!”
In “couple” I’m assuming he meant the boy and the girl. But after a long, detailed research of the screenshot late into the night, perhaps not.
