What you see above is a video the Dallas Independent School District just posted to Vimeo in which district spokesman Jon Dahlander asks Michael Hinojosa to discuss the “staggering” worst-case scenario outlined at the board meeting two weeks ago. I like to think of this as “new reality programming.”
Speaking of: After the jump is a second video posted by the district within the last hour — the legislative update offered during that same briefing, during which the super outlined the “two big things” that caused “the state’s structural deficit” leading to the likelihood that the district will need to cut somewhere around $260 million from its budget.
