Dallas Stars Moving to The Ticket

Might be a pre-emptive strike in advance of losing the Dallas Cowboys.

Might be a further stock-piling of assets aimed at extending its dynasty another 15 years.

Either way, 1310 AM The Ticket just announced it will be the radio home of your Dallas Stars for the next five years starting in 2009-10. Good on them.

The Stars have been lost on WBAP 820 AM for 15 years. Despite The Ticket's weak night signal, this makes them more media relevant. But I'm doubting there'll be much punch to the pre-game shows, considering The Hardline runs up till 7 p.m.

No doubt Daryl Reaugh - who will continue to be teamed with Ralph Strangis - and Bob Sturm are sportin' chubbies this morning, but what's your take?

A) Big deal!!

B) Big deal??
