Jim Romenesko has posted to his media inside-baseball Poynter Institute site a memo just sent from Dallas Morning News managing editor George Rodrigue to the rest of the staff concerning their participation, or not, in Tuesday’s caucuses. In short, they can vote, sure, but with this addendum: “It’s OK for spouses to attend caucuses, but not for newsroom employees. The caucus just might be seen as a step into activism, and we don’t want to create false impressions that way.” Course, we’re very fond of George around here — Schutze especially. –Robert Wilonsky
