I know the officials missed an earlier facemask on the Cowboys. I know that if the Cowboys' rush would contain Donovan McNabb none of it would matter.
And I realize that I'm harping on the refs way more than usual.
But this year there's supposed to be an emphasis on offensive players initiating contact with would-be tacklers' facemasks. In fact, some call it the Marion Barber Rule. But just now Brian Westbrook grabbed safety Patrick Watkins' facemask, prompting Watkins to return the favor simultaneously.
The resulting penalty -- on Watkins only -- was a horrible call that set up Westbrook's 1-yard plunge.
