Word out of 508 Young Street is that George Rodrigue, Dallas Morning News managing editor, has informed the staff of Dallas’s Only Daily that it’s fired up the presses this afternoon for a special reprinting of today’s paper, which is apparently historic or something? Turns out, folks have been streaming into The News‘ lobby to pick up copies of the paper — because there aren’t any to be found on the street. And they don’t want just one, either; people are buying up dozens of copies at a time. Seems to be a trend. Can’t imagine why … –Robert Wilonsky
