Every now and then I’ll find on eBay old photos from Fair Park — like this batch of John Sirgio originals from the ’36 Texas Centennial Exposition that wound up going for $147.50, or these rare glimpses at the Greater Texas and Pan American Exposition held in ’37. This morning I stumbled across this offering: five snapshots from the Texas Centennial Exposition. Far more, well, raw than Sirgio’s pro shots — but also, a heretofore unseen glimpse of the Expo up-close.
