Found It: A Reason For Rangers Fans To Remain Optimistic

Good enough to have his picture taken in color next season.

As the Rangers produce an awful end to what had been a surprisingly entertaining season – didja see the misplayed fly ball between Brandon Boggs and Josh Hamilton in last night’s loss? – there is another reason to look forward to the future.

His name is Neftali Feliz.

A flame-throwing, 20-year-old pitcher stolen from the Atlanta Braves in the great Mark Teixeira heist of 2007, Feliz enhanced his legend last night with a hitless five innings for AA Frisco. Let's give this guy a September call up, shall we?

Speaking of 11 losses in 13 games, don’t I remember some dork predicting Texas’ post All-Star demise? Thought so. -- Richie Whitt
