In advance of the Westboro Baptist Church’s planned return to Dallas Friday, the Unfair Park in-box has been filling up with notices of counter-protests being planned. One Friend of Unfair Park directs our attention to the Facebook page for the Westboro Baptist Church “Welcoming” Committee – Dallas Chapter, where signs are being suggested, among them the one you see here. And, speaking of, I was sent a link to a site that comes with print-and-paste PDFs: God Hates Shrimp. There’s also this Facebook page — COUNTER PROTEST WESTBORO BAPTIST CHURCH WITH US!! — calling for a “peaceful” counter-protest. More than 300 confirmed guests thus far.
