Over at Deadspin, Boys Will Be Boys: The Glory Days and Party Nights of the Dallas Cowboys Dynasty author Jeff Pearlman has most graciously provided a lengthy excerpt from his book -- specifically, from the chapter about the trip to Tempe for Super Bowl XXX, which wound up Cowboys 27, Steelers 17. Right, like Pearlman's concerned with the score -- mostly, it's about the scoring! (There is a three-veal limit.) Still, come for the skanks, stay for the play-by-play. But perhaps best of all is the Deadspin endorsement of the hefty tome, sure to make its way onto paperback editions: "It's worth its weight in White House coke." --Robert Wilonsky
