Yesterday we learned that Palm Bay, Florida, got our former fire chief. Today, we discover Dallas gets in return the assistant county administrator from Palm Beach, Florida — a gentleman named Ray Waznie, and you might want to write down the name.
He’ll be working in the city’s Development Services department, under Theresa O’Donnell, as the man in charge of the Inspection Services Division. So, yeah, he’s the dude to talk to if you’re planning on building something in the city, as he’ll be “responsible for ensuring [that] new construction meets all applicable City Codes and regulations.” Safety first, people, safety first. –Robert Wilonsky
