Sam's back in a Fort Worth courtroom this morning, where Judge Michael Lynn's trying to decide just when to auction off Your Texas Rangers. Among those in attendance: Chuck Greenberg, Nolan Ryan and, for whatever reason, Rangers GM Jon Daniels and skipper Ron Washington, who, from the looks of a Hal Samples photo we'll run shortly along with Sam's morning recap, cleans up real nice.
But for those who missed it, over the weekend more details emerged concerning the sale of Liverpool FC -- which, turns out, will also be auctioned off, and good luck with all that. Which got me to thinking about those pics Reds supporters the world over have been taking with those "Tom & George Not Welcome ANYWHERE" fliers. The number's up to close to 400 since last we checked in, with some of the most recent snapped at Beatles-related landmarks in Liverpool -- such as the Cavern Club, the Eleanor Rigby sculpture and Penny Lane. And, as evidenced by the photo above, Strawberry Field -- apparently now claimed by at least one proud Texan as well. There remains, however, one more local locale noticeably absent from the stream.
