The National Association of Broadcasters has announced the latest inductee into its hall of fame: the former Irving Harrigan, as he was known to listeners of KLIF waaaay back in the day. The One-Time Voice of KVIL, inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame in ’02 (and again in ’04), gets his nod in April at The NAB Show in Las Vegas. Says NAB Executive Vice President of Radio John David about Chapman’s induction: “Ron Chapman has delighted radio listeners with his humor and charisma for more than 50 years. We look forward to honoring his many contributions to the radio community during the NAB Show Radio Luncheon.” My question: Who’s got the Sump’N Else archives?
