Update at 2:53: Menager told WFAA's Brad Watson she has demons in her. See his tweet -- complete with creepy picture -- after the jump.

Yesterday afternoon, police pulled over a man on Singleton Boulevard who told them that he had just gotten a call: his 1-year-old child was dead. Police followed the man to an apartment in the 4300 block of Wyoming where they found the infant's body.

This morning, police announced they have charged 25-year-old Chloe Menager with capital murder. She's in Dallas County Jail with bail set at $1 million.

According to the Morning News, Menager allegedly held the child underwater in the bath tub until he drowned.

The child's name has not yet been released, and Menager's relationship to him is unclear.

Update at 9:08 a.m.: DPD has confirmed what was already assumed. Menager is the child's mother.
