When the Dallas Police Department isn't using its Facebook page to post breaking news about missing persons or arrested officers, it's sharing quite a bit of departmental history via old photos. Already we've peeked at an illustrated history of the department's sweet rides, and been treated to a gallery featuring the chiefs (and their mustaches). Today's offering is a bit more generic, but no less enjoyable: History of Dallas Police Department, which, sadly, features quite a few photos of its old helicopters (perhaps to send a message concerning this, which goes before the council for a vote tomorrow?). Still. I gotta get me a pair of those motorcycle boots.
