$10,000

Just one block down from Brian Foster’s proposed $4-million eatery-“basement ultra lounge” on Main Street is Thoth Lounge, a, um, basement ultra lounge that, just so happens, can be yours for the low, low price of $500,000. Or: $625,000, if you’re willing to pay now. But no rush: Bidding closes tomorrow afternoon, and so far no bids on eBay. Since December 1, it’s been listed for $625,000 in Craigslist.

So, what do you need to know to make an informed purchase? Well: It’s 4,100 square feet, and “the owner is a newly married, motivated seller, that will provide the liquor license, training as well as lights, sound, glamourous Egyptiian-themed decor and 15 month lease.” After that, you’re on your own — and rent’s $5,000-plus a month. Still, “Tommy Lee has spun at Thoth,” notes the classified, and the 50-foot-long bar would make a nice addition to any living room. –Robert Wilonsky
