This picture of Keyshawn Johnson and Steve Martin might be the most confusing photo ever taken.

Former Dallas Cowboys receiver Keyshawn Johnson retired today, to join ESPN as a sportscaster. Not that Johnson thinks he was ready to give up the game. "Although I am currently able to play at the same high NFL level that many fans are used to seeing, walking away while at that level is what I have chosen to do," he said in a statement in which he added that other teams were "attempting to sign" him. Other teams, step forward. Thought so...

When a superstar basketball player chokes in a playoff series, it's now known as "pulling a Dirk." So says Salon's King Kaufman, anyway...

And there's going to be a competitive video game league, with six franchises nationally. One of them will be in Dallas, of course. It's called the Championship Gaming Series, and you warm up by pulling your Dirk. No? My bad. --Robert Wilonsky
