Ed Werder brings word from his super-secret sources deep within Valley Ranch -- Wade Phillips, prolly -- that the Cowboys coach is looking for someone, anyone, other than Brad Johnson to throw the ball against the New York Giants on Sunday. Except Daunte Culpepper. Not Daunte Culpepper. Definitely not Daunte Culpepper. Writes Werder: "A high-ranking team source" said Johnson will "probably" start, but that "Johnson's obvious limitations within the offense ... might prompt coach Wade Phillips and his staff to consider other options, including third-stringer Brooks Bollinger." At what point does Jason Garrett become an option? --Robert Wilonsky
